Candle Care and Safety

Please take care when burning your candle and always ensure you follow the safety instructions. Do not move a lit candle and avoid drafty areas. Keep out of reach of children. Candles should be place on a stable heat resistant surface.
For safety reasons we recommend extinguishing your candle when it has approximately 1/4in  left in the jar. If left to burn after the wax has evaporated the metal wick tab can cause the jar to overheat.
Be sure to trim wick to 1/4 inch before lighting your candle for every use time, this will allow your candle to burn cleanly every time. If your jar is turning black this is because your wick has been left too long, this causes a larger of a flame and the wick can start to let off a smoke plume.
Burn your candle for a maximum of 3 hours, this will ensure you get the most out of your candle.
When candle has burned fully the wax can either be tipped out or washed out with warm soapy water.
